Systems Group, LLC. We manufacture PC-based control systems, software and accessories.
Our headquarters are located in Woodbury,
Minnesota. We offer unique control solutions to clients in distance education,
IPTV broadband, and
videoconferencing environments. Eastview now also looks to applications in
markets such as judicial, corporate and medical.
How it Began
Prior to 1998, there were some substantial product gaps in the distance
learning technology market. The biggest of these gaps was between the available
technology and customer needs/ financial resources, specifically in control
systems. The videoconferencing systems and components on the market at the
time were too rigid for many clients, and the financial aspects were preventing
some from getting the customized control solutions they needed for their unique
situation.
Forward-Thinking
Believing they could come up with something more cost-effective and affordable
for their customers, Eastview started to develop ideas
to fill these fore-mentioned product gaps. They made an initial investment to the research and
development of control system products and began putting together a software
savvy staff for their "niche" education market's needs.
The Perfect Fit
All Eastview products fit a customer need that no one else is building
anything in response to, for reasons of either price or functionality. Today, Eastview control systems have been
installed in more than 1000 studio classrooms and videoconferencing sites
nationwide, and the numbers are continuously growing. The product line is
based on three control products and a variety of accessories. Many control
products have dropped out of the product catalog as technology advances, but the
development continues.
